What a great journey mate. This is something I'm interested in myself.

One thing I wanted to ask, when you're offering this for local businesses, for example, that coffee shop. How did you increase the following of that page relevant to the area/niche? All my accounts are broad niches so curious how it works for such a little one.

Also whilst you're managing the account for them I guess you tell them not to log into it?

Thanks! and yes still learning new things everyday! :)

In regards to your question about building a relevant following for the the cafe, I target all their direct competitors accounts and also their geo locations. So that means going after all the other hospitality businesses in the city and surrounding towns and any other area the buiness want to target. I don't fully manage the account and they do access it as well as do all my clients. As long as your proxy is in the same city or at least country it's not an issue for a client to be logged in at the same time as you. In fact at one point I had some clients based in eastern europe which I had on a UK proxy for a while, it did initially trigger a EV when loading them on but was fine for months. I definitely don't recommend this but at the time I couldn't get a closer proxy.

**UPDATE**

So just a small but actually significant update. Upsell, upset ..... upsell! : )

I got a low paying customer over a year a go who was paying only £40PM for basic growth package. If you've been following my journey you'll see that I am trying harder to get big paying customers or at least well paying customers. It's hard to go to current paying customer and demand a significant increase, so tried to spot any upset oppurtutnites and had a look at what this client was mainly focussed on in terms of posting and realised he had many other accounts he was also using for his business, so by cutting him some discount i manage to get him to sign up his whole batch at £160PM a month. Should have done this sooner! doh

Thanks @lukec2000 , The most consistent method so far for me has been referrals and i also have a partnership with a music agency now ( should have done an update on this really haha ) which also sends clients my way. This was built of me providing a service for the owner and he was so impressed he wanted to bundle it with the packages he offered his clients. Do a good job for one person and they will always recommend you especially if there's an incentive ; )

Yes cold is a hard sell I find, i've have had some leads but I think I still need to refine my sales funnel/process to convert better.

Sure, I think allot of people want shortcuts in this game and some will get them as they are very good at sales perhaps. but for me referrals have been my best friend and that was the catalyst to the deal.

1 of my current clients who is a Music Producer gained around 1000 targeted followers in his first month and was so impressed with the new engagement and potential to leverage this to promote his new releases he recommended my services to a good friend of his, who turned out owned a artist development agency. He used my service on a couple of his own accounts and was impressed and decided he would like to bundle my services in with his if i was happy about that, off course i was : )

That's it, nothing complicated i just provided a good service and that was the result. I can't stress referrals enough, sure it takes long game but that means you have a way more substantial proof.

I've read a guys post on a different forum that makes over 20K a month just from referrals from friends, he doesn't even have a website ... haha.

In regards to packages, I keep it simple. The more I charge the more I do for the customer and I also have a load of add-ons which aren't bundled into the cheaper packages. The best advice I can give is just be clear what market you want to attack, then set your prices to match that. Influencers and businesses have very different budgets and expectations.

Hi All, New significant update!

Had a 45min call with a independant record label owner who came through a recommendation. They have 7 acts and I managed to negotiate a deal for £500PM. Happy is a understatement! : )

My best piece of advice to you guys is to start adding another digit to your agency services. Don't undervalue the time and effort you put in.

Yes.

No, I'm careful with my settings.

I see this method as spammy, can't imagine trying explaining this method to a business owner unless they already had multiple accounts of there own to work with.

Agree but man, i think that you are running a pretty big risk.

Thered many cases out there of people losing their accounts even with low settings.

Are you using automation? If yes, what bot/program/platform do you use? and what kind of proxies do you use for clients?

Considering your not aware of my exact setup that’s a bit of a presumption and it’s not only automation that triggers people’s accounts to get disabled.

I’ve been doing this over 2 years and have a keen eye on the situation, but thanks for your concern!

To add to that I have personal accounts growing at over 1000 targeted followers a day : )

Doesnt matter if you "have a keen eye".

And if you have been "doing this for 2 years" either.

Next thing you know is tomorrow IG found out of your automation and you are done.

You cant just assume that you will be always ahead of them, and it is irresponsible from your part to manage that way other business accounts.

Always expect the worst.

But oh well, keep it up! :)

Again your speaking form a place ignorance, you actually have no idea of the relationships i have with my clients.

Did i ever say i was ahead!? your just making things up now.

Doing it for 2 years and not had one account disabled actually does count for something. Instagram knows automation is going on, thats why they execute action blocks and pv's/ev's. BUT at the same time they also have hourly limits of 60 actions ph, what would be the difference between someone doing it manually and me doing it on Jarvee?

How much experience do you have with working with instagram, and what methods have you tried?

As humanized as your settings can be, answer is plain and simple.

ToS.

And i do believe you have a great working method and settings and its awesome, i am not blaming you at all!!

You know, we just cant believe that we will always be "the lucky ones".

I really wish you all the best man, i hope i can be on your level someday.
